Fr. Jeff Woolnough is leading an Advent Quiet Afternoon Saturday 7th December  at St Peter's Eastwood, SS9 4BX.    a structured afternoon: however one can come for a while, of course. We begin at 2pm with a decade of the Rosary, then the  First address: The Joy of the Annunciation. Time for silent reflection as the Blessed Sacrament is exposed and priest then available for confessions. Second address, 'The Word was made flesh and dwelt amongst us'.  Afternoon concluding with Benediction.  Tea served after. The Southend Area Ordinariate is holding at this event from 2-4.30pm. All welcome!

Solemn Mass of Requiem for the War Dead at St. Pius X, Hockley, 10:30am.  Celebrant Fr. Jeff Woolnough. We shall be attending the Hockley War Memorial Service at 2pm at which Fr. Jeff will  lay a wreath from the Ordinariate Mission in Hockley. WE WILL REMEMBER THEM

Funeral arrangements for the Late Ken Hewitt RIP., faithful member of the Catholic Church and the Personal Ordinariate of Our Lady of Walsingham. Reception of Body and Vigil at St. Peter's RC Church Eastwood SS9 4BX 4:30pm Weds 6th November. Requiem Mass Thursday 7th, 11:45am. followed by private committal. Reception at the New Mazenod Hall at St. Peter's directly after. Requiescat in pace.
