PENTECOST PARISH MASS and ROSARY Our Live stream Mass for Pentecost this Sunday  will begin at 10.30am  and followed by the Rosary- (Live directly after our Parish Mass). Live Streaming on www.facebook.com/StPeterEastwood Parishioners are invited to join the National Rosary Rally taking place in dioceses throughout England, Wales and Scotland from 9am to 9pm on Pentecost Sunday, 31 May. Pope Francis is encouraging Catholics to pray the Rosary in their family homes during the month of May, especially when the pandemic is making us aware of the value of our families and making it possible for us to pray together at home. He encourages simple Rosaries and joining online Rosary initiatives to pray to Our Lady for deliverance from Covid-19 and he has composed two prayers for this intention.   FOURTH SUNDAY of   EASTER Good Shepherd Sunday pray for vocations!    Oremus   O Lord, my God, You renew the Church in every age by raising up priests outstanding in holiness, living witnesses of Your unchanging Love.  In Your Plan for our salvation You provide shepherds for Your people. Fill the hearts of young men with the spirit of courage and love that they may answer Your call generously. Give parents the grace to encourage vocations in their family by prayer and good example. Raise up worthy priests for Your Altars and ardent, but gentle servants of the Gospel. Give the Church more priests and keep them faithful in their love and service. May many young men choose to serve You by devoting themselves to the service of Your people.          During this period of 'Lockdown' St Peter's remains closed. However, private Masses are offered daily at 11.30am - Saturday in the Ordinariate Use Live Streams at www.facebook.com/StPeterEastwood
