Fr. Jeff Woolnough is leading an Advent Quiet Afternoon Saturday 7th December  at St Peter's Eastwood, SS9 4BX.    a structured afternoon: however one can come for a while, of course. We begin at 2pm with a decade of the Rosary, then the  First address: The Joy of the Annunciation. Time for silent reflection as the Blessed Sacrament is exposed and priest then available for confessions. Second address, 'The Word was made flesh and dwelt amongst us'.  Afternoon concluding with Benediction.  Tea served after. The Southend Area Ordinariate is holding at this event from 2-4.30pm.
